Kim’zebra Adventures & Safaris invites you to join a 8 days safari in East Africa. This safari will take you to the Uganda and Rwanda Gorilla Tracking. Get a chance to see the "Big Five" and other animals such as impalas, zebras, buffalos, etc. You will feel being one with nature as you will spend your nights in various great campsites/lodge/tented camp. DAY 1

Arrival in Kigali - Rwanda and transfer to the hotel

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you are met and driven to your hotel. This two and half hours drive takes you via the beautifully terraced Rwanda countryside to Kinigi, the base of Gorilla Tracking. Brief stopovers are provided for photography. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Nest Hotel B/D

DAY 2

Gorilla trekking and hiking in Volcanoes National Park

An early morning breakfast is followed by a drive to Kinigi park headquarters for group, guide allocation and briefing. This is followed by a drive to the trailheads where hiking and trekking up the hills to the bamboo zone begins. Hiking, trekking and tracking gorillas may take 2-3 hours. Sight and stay with the Gorillas for one hour. Descend to your hotel for lunch. In the afternoon visit Gisenyi on the Lake Kivu. Return to Gorilla Nest (B/L/D)

DAY 3

Gorilla Tracking or optional activities

This day is spent at leisure. There are numerous activities to choose from as follows: - Second day of trekking, hiking and tracking gorillas - Driving to Gisenyi to spend the day on lake Kivu - Tracking the golden monkeys - Hiking and trekking Bisoke Volcano - Visiting Diana Fossey's grave Of all the above activities must be booked in advance at the time of booking. Overnight Kivu Sun Hotel or Gorilla Nest Hotel B/L/D

DAY 4

Bwindi National Park

After breakfast, drive across the Rwanda Uganda Cyanika Border into Kisoro and finally Buhoma the base of tracking gorillas inBwindi Impenetrable forest. Arrive in time for dinner. Overnight Buhoma Homestead B/L/D

DAY 5

Hiking Trekking and tracking Gorilla Bwindi National Park

An early morning breakfast is followed by a drive to the park headquarters for group, guide allocation and briefing. This is followed by a drive to the trailheads where hiking and trekking up the hills to the bamboo zone begins. Trekking and tracking gorillas in hectic and requires moderate physical fitness. Sight and stay with the Gorillas for one hour. Have your picnic lunch as you descend to the base hotel Ovenight Buhoma Homestead B/L/D

DAY 6

Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park through Ishasha sector. The Ishasha sector is famous for its tree climbing lions. Have a game drive en-route to your lodge arriving in time for late lunch. Have an evening boat ride in the Kasinga channel. Overnight Mweya Safari Lodge B/L/D

DAY 7

Queen Elizabeth to Kampala

Breakfast is followed game drive en-route to Kampala. Arrive at Kampala in time for dinner. Overnight Emin Pasha Hotel BB

DAY 8

Departure in Kampala-Uganda

After breakfast you will check out from the hotel to the Kampala Airport for your scheduled flight back home recommend 2 hours early for checking time. On behalf of our team we give you a vote of thanks and wish you safe flight. End of safaris …… Enjoy your stay……Thank you.

The Tour Price Includes

Day: -Start Kigali and end in Kampala.
Kigali hotel based on 3 Star Hotel on first day on H/B.
Kampala hotel based on 3 Star Hotel on last day on H/B.
Pick up at Kigali Airport and drop off at Kampala Airport.
Bottled mineral water in the vehicle while on safari (1.5Ltr per day).
Ground transportation in a 8 setter or 6 setter 4x4 Safari vehicle with English Speaking Driver guide: -
In case of a camping safari: camping gear like tents, camping mattresses, sleeping bags, pillows, camping chairs, etc.
Accommodation and meals per the itinerary (B=breakfast, L=lunch, D=dinner). Dinner on day 1, breakfast, lunch and dinner on day 2-7 and Breakfast on day 8 of your trip. This tour offers Vegetarian, Vegan and Halal food options on request. Simply let our administrator team know the food option that you prefer
Gorilla permit, all park entry fees, and government tax and levies on tour fees and service which cost nearly 60% of the total cost.
Accommodation of your choice: from budget camping to staying in luxurious lodges, we can arrange it for you (the prices mentioned above are for overnight stays in Mid-range to Luxury hotels/lodge/tented Camps according to the program, other prices are applicable for the other accommodation options).

The Tour Price Excludes

Meals not listed above. eg Breakfast and lunch on the first day, lunch and dinner on the last
Visa cost which is 50% except for Canadian and USA passport holders which is US$100.
International and Domestic Flights and departure taxes (Quoted separately where applicable)
Optional activities and excursions (short safari/tour after your safari can be arranged upon request at an extra cost).
Tips for the crew. We recommend a tip of 25 USD per day for your guide, and 15 USD per day for your cook, to be divided between each member of your group.
Inoculations and personal insurance (e.g. Visa, Travel, Medical and Baggage insurance, A doctor for the group, Laundry, Souvenirs, Telephone, Beverages (available to purchase) and all other services that are not mentioned as included.
Holiday Surcharge : A supplement of US $ 40.00 per person per day will apply to all bookings on the 24th, 25th, 26th and 31 December and 1st January
A supplement of US $ 35.00 per person will apply to all bookings between Friday 3rd and Monday 6th April (for all 4 days) as Easter holiday surcharge.
