Safari Overview
Ruaha National Park is one of the few Tanzania’s famous wilderness area where one can have a rare experience of game viewing spiced up by the fascinating landscape. The park is rich of plants and animals like greater kudu, which cannot be found within the other park . The park boasts of her almost untouched and unexplored ecosystem, making visitors’ safari experience very unique. The Great Ruaha River as other rivers like Mwagusi, Jongomero and Mzombe save because the life line of the park. During season, these rivers become mostly the foremost source of water for wildlife. There are few natural springs saving the same purpose. In the pick of season, elephants obtain water from dry sand rivers using their front feet and trunks. The remaining water falls along the great Ruaha River are also important habitat for hippopotamus, fish and crocodiles.

DAY 2
Dar es Salaam - Ruaha National park

Depart by morning flight from Dar es Salaam to Ruaha. You will be met by our driver who will transfer you to Camp for lunch on an open 4x4 vehicle. Later you will depart for afternoon game drive to enjoy the sunset and overnight at Budget | Mid range | Luxury Lodge or Tented Camp in Ruaha National Park.

Game Drive in Ruaha National Park

After breakfast depart for a full day game drive with a bush lunch looking for wild game. The whole day will be spent looking for animals along the Great Ruaha River and through the National Park. Dinner and overnight at Budget | Mid range | Luxury Lodge or Tented Camp in Ruaha National Park.
DAY 4
Early Morning Walking Safari – Departure to Zanzibar

After breakfast depart for morning game drive inside the park, later you will be transferred to the airstrip to catch your 11:45hrs flight back to Zanzibar. The expected arrival time to Zanzibar is 14:20hrs. Meet & greet at the airport and transfer to your hotel in town for overnight at Budget | Mid range | Luxury Hotel in Zanzibar.
DAY 5
Zanzibar Stone Town and Spice Tour

Enjoy an early breakfast before taking a privately guided tour of Stone town that includes the traditional spice markets, the old fort and the slave museum. After lunch make the 45min drive to the northern coast of the Island. Overnight at Budget | Mid range | Luxury Hotel in Zanzibar.
DAY 6
Diving To Mnemba Island Half Day

Start with a half day boat ride with lunch and snorkeling to the small island of Mnemba, famous for its white sands, clear waters and colorful tropical fish. Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing on the beach or at the pool. Overnight at Budget | Mid range | Luxury Hotel in Zanzibar.
DAY 7
Reserved for Departure - Drop off in Zanzibar Airport

After breakfast, Kim’zebra Adventures & Safaris representative will transfer you to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled flight. Out of Tanzania & Zanzibar Island, Today you will have to bid a fond farewell to Tanzania and Zanzibar Island. The Tour Price Includes

- Transport in a 4×4 safari vehicle from your hotel in Arusha to the parks and back (other pick-up points possible, please contact us for the right price)
- Ground transportation in a 8 setter or 6 setter 4x4 Safari vehicle with English Speaking Driver guide: -
- 8 setter Safari vehicle has 6 windows seats (in the passenger cabin) and 1 window seat next to the driver (in front)
- 6 setter Safari vehicle has 4 windows seats (in the passenger cabin) and 1 window seat next to the driver (in front)

- Tanzania Visa cost which is 50% except for Canadian and USA passport holders which is US$100.

- Pre Accommodation in Dar es Salaam. If you wish, we can however assist you in finding a place that corresponds to your needs and budget.
- Flights or other transport to Zanzibar to Dar. We can however arrange airport pickup for you. Let us know your itinerary and we’ll make it happen!
- Ruaha balloon ride, per person Adult (Above 16yrs) $550, Child (7-16yrs) $530 {June - October} Daily launch at dawn (6:30am) returning approx. 9:45am.
- Tips for the crew. We recommend a tip of 25 USD per day for your guide, and 15 USD per day for your cook, to be divided between each member of your group.
- Inoculations and personal insurance (e.g. Tanzania Visa, Travel, Medical and Baggage insurance, A doctor for the group, Laundry, Souvenirs, Telephone, Beverages (available to purchase) and all other services that are not mentioned as included.
